Joe Scaperotta has been a Bay County resident since graduating from college in 1974.  His background includes banking, business brokerage and co-owner of the Americana Beach Motel on Panama City Beach. Joe has been a Florida Real Estate Broker since 1994 and started Scaperotta Real Estate & Development in 2004. The company is also involved in development and construction in Bay County.  He is married to the former Gretchen Sowell, and has a daughter Rachel and son Joseph III. An avid golfer and triathlete, Joe has completed three Ironman triathlons. Joe is also a member of the Council of Residential Specialists, an Accredited Staging Professional ( ASP™), and the Bay County Association of REALTORS®,  

Mary Sowell has called Bay County her home since the age of 7, growing up in the Woodlawn neighborhood.  After obtaining her degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee in 1981, the former Mary Brown moved back to Bay County. Her background includes Florida Department of Revenue, public accounting, and co-owner of the Americana Beach Motel on Panama City Beach.  Mary obtained her Sales Associate License, and joined her brother-in-law, Joe, at Scaperotta Real Estate & Development.  She is married to CPA Jerry Sowell and has two sons Jerry III and Matt. In addition to being an avid boater and jet skier, Mary has completed 18 marathons.  Mary is also a member of the Council of Residential Specialists, an Accredited Staging Professional ( ASP™), and the Bay County Association of REALTORS®.
